Night The Morning Came
Words by Fr. Tim  Devine CC  and  David Wang
Music by Matthew Devine and Fr. Tim Devine, CC

There's a full moon
It's a spotlight
On this cold earth, on this dark night
And we're waiting for the light of the sun

There's a red glow
In the distance
And the black sea starts to glisten
As the fog rises like a veil from our eyes

And we're waiting for a new day to come
And though everything is old it's just begun
And when it seems that all the darkness has won
We'll never be the same
The night the morning came

There's a cold chill
In the night air
Sweeping through us like we're not there
Trying to smother what remains of the fire within

Then a warm breeze
Brings the dawn's light
In an instant all is set right
As we stare in Awe of the risen Son

Chorus...
And we're waiting for a new day to come
And though everything is old it's just begun
And when it seems that all the darkness has won
We'll never be the same...x3
